Busy

                                                                            

I don't really get a lot of free time, I am always busy working in the barn. I have 25 barn animals and a bunch of chickens, and cats and dogs. Farming is a none stop job. You always have to be there for your animals no matter how tired you may be. On the weekends when I want to sleep-in because I have been at school all week and have stayed up all night. All I want to do on the weekend is sleep in, but that never happens. Sleep in for me is about 7 and that barely happens cause I feel bad when I can hear the Josie the donkey "Hee-Hawing" because he wants to go outside. I spend most of my weekend in the barn because during the week I don't do the chores. I only go up and say hi to all the animals. I love these animals so much. 

I can not wait for summer. Once summer comes the donkey is coming to be a horse. The reason she is going to be a horse is because I am going to train her to let people ride her. She doesn't really like me right now because when I see her I try to put a halter on her so that I can start training her. She is so use to being free that she doesn't even like the idea of being tied to a rope. 

Another reason I am excited for summer is because I will also have kids riding my mini horses.

And this summer I want to add a new addition to the farm. I want either and alpaca, or a llama. 

Brothers

          I have three brothers and they are all my favorite, even if I don't always see them. One of my brother is my twin, Dustin, so I have had to put up with him since I was 13 mins. old. We have not always got along. We use to hate each other. When we lived together we did not get along at all. He drived me nuts and all I wanted was to be away from him for 2 seconds. It seemed we had to do everything together. The one good thing is, we never get compared to each other. I think that is a good thing because I don't think anyone should be compared to anyone. Now that we don't live together we don't see each other as much so when we do we don't spend time fighting. 

I have another brother that is five, Garrett. He is my dads other kid. I use to live with him and see if everyday. My dad and his girlfriend broke up and now I hardly ever get to see my brother. I love every chance I get to spend with him, and even talk to him. I see him for Christmas, his and my birthday, and sometimes a few other times. When we get together we usually go out to eat, I use to spend the day at  his house, but once my dad found out that was happening I wasn't allowed to anymore. 

I have one other brother, and he is four, JJ. I have lived with him since I moved back to Bucksport in the 7th grade. He loved me and I love him very much. Since I barely ever go home I don't always see him all the time. When I do see him he runs up to me and doesn't let me go, and when I try to go he cries. My brother is the only thing keeping me coming back to my house every once in a while. He loves taking pictures. 

Sometimes I don't want to claim him as my brother like when he wants to walk into the store dressed like this. 

         My name is Bethany Bires. I am 16 year old twin. I am a junior at Bucksport High School. I love bear hunting. I have never shot a bear because all that ever comes out of the woods while I am hunting is little baby cubs and the momma. It is the cutest thing ever to sit on the ground and watch all the baby cubs playing with each other. I love animals.

I live with 5 horses, 1 donkey, 8 goats, 2 sheep, 8 peacocks, chickens and roasters. I spent a lot of my time with the horses and the donkey. I have been in 4h for 3 years and enjoy it very much and enjoy working with the animals. When I am stressed or just need a break from everything I go up to the barn and spend time with all the animals. It’s the best thing to do.

          Another thing that I love in my life is my family. Most importantly my mom, my dad, and my 3 brothers.
